Today is the "Asuncion de la Virgen (Assumption of Mary)", it's a public holiday in the whole of Spain. The supermarkets and many shops will close at 2pm.

Tomorrow is All Saints Day and is a public holiday throughout Spain so the banks and supermarkets will be closed.

Constitution Day.

Today is a public holiday here and in the whole of Spain, most of the shops and banks will be closed (thankfully, not the bars and restaurants though ), it is Spanish Constitution Day and i found this quite an interesting read Spanish Constitution of 1978 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

It is Balearics Day on Thursday 1st March so the banks/supermarkets etc will be closed.
