Rainy Days In Puerto Pollensa

Next weeks forecast looks mixed so I was Just curious what everyone gets upto when you get a rainy day in the port? I'm thinking waterpark in alcudia as you will get wet anyway and it's more likely to be quiet!

Any ideas?

We were thinking the same thing about the Waterpark - as long as the temperature stays up, that is. However, be aware that according to their website, the last day of the season at the Alucudia waterpark is Thursday 31st.

Only one reply, it must have rained at some point on your trips to puerto.

If it looks like a long day of rain then we have in the past had a car and gone to festival park and had a look around, am sure this is also where we went bowling.

If its warm outside I am also happy to sit on the balcony ( as long as rain not falling onto it) and have an afternoon reading or its always an excuse for a long lunch and few glasses of wine.

I think the rain is due on Tuesday, still going to keep warm so the balcony and wine sounds like a winner. The kids might get board though.

Any ideas for what to do with children 4/6years old??

Things like a teddy bear picnic with blankets on the floor and letting them make their own sandwiches etc always amuses. Also if you buy rice krispies as a cereal for them then just buy chocolate and do some choc krispie making. Easily passes a couple of hours and doable in an apartment.

Caves at Campanet

What about a visit to the caves at Campanet? I have to say our 4 year-old granddaughter said the caves were "OK"; but she loved stroking the cats on the terrace and browsing the little shop. It did pass a couple of hours, though. Not sure if they stay open all year....

The caves at Campanet are open all year round,and I think some of the prettiest.

Lovely place to have a coffee on the terrace and look out and around at the outstanding views too. We do this often without going down the caves now!
