Refuse tip

Does anybody know where the nearest refuse tip is. I have lots of unwanted items in the apartment, ranging from a rusty ironing board to a glass display cabinet which needs throwing. Can you just turn up and throw things, or do you need proof of residence. Here in Bournemouth we have to have our council tax bill to prove we live here. Any advice would be welcome.

Yes, it's just outside Pollensa.
It's off the roundabout in Pollensa with the new cockerel on it. I think you go off past the basketball pavilion. Once on this road, the tip is on the right.
Coming from Puerto Pollensa you can take the road to Pollensa from the roundabout near Rest.Llenaire. Take the straight road to Pollensa from Llenaire,then take a road to the left (signed Campernet I think). It takes you towards the roundabout in Pollensa, and the tip is on the left.

Mallorca boy is a regular user....beware!

We have had no problems with taking rubbish in our cars, but I have seen the man at the tip talking to people with Transits and trailers.

Thanks very much Frito. I knew somebody out there would know, although I think my husband's a tad disappointed. It means not only does he have to cart everything to the tip, but it also makes lots of lovely space in the flat to fill up. I can feel a shopping trip coming on !:lol
