Just wondering if anyone has used the public bus from the airport up to Alcudia.
Is it a better option that booking a transfer? I would then need to get from Alcudia into Port de Pollença.

I really can't understand why the bus doesn't stop in PP. You could get another bus from Alcudia but may not be geared up for taking suitcases like the airport bus would (I assume). Probably best to get a taxi but I am not sure how frequent the airport buses are and sod's law there probably wouldn't be one to suit your arrival!

Its around 12 euros from Alcidia to the port by taxi, nearly always some waiting in the bus carpark, and that way you get the added bonus of driving along the sea front with the great view to welcome you

Seems like a good option, if my flight gets in at a good time for the bus leaving. Only risk is if I just miss the bus, then I wouldnt have a resort transfer to fall back on.

The last bus leaving the airport is at 22:40 and gets to Alcudia at 23:40, so it would have to be a taxi to PP as there is no bus.

We are due to land at 10:40am, Seen there was a bus at 11:40am we could possibly catch, assuming the problems I've heard about passport control arent too bad.

Well, I decided with the public bus. Couldnt fault it one bit!!! Jumped off at alcudia and straight onto a bus along to Port de Pollença.
My only worry is, not many people using it, so I just hope then dont stop the service!
