Restauarants & Bars in Palma

We are heading to mallorca for 7 days in early march and have booked 5 days in pp and 2 days in Palma. I know this may be in the wrong category but can anybody reccommend any good restaurants and bars in Palma. We are staying in the old town about half a mile from the cathedral.

We havn't made it yet but have always wanted to try Abaco for a cocktail.

Go to sa Premsa near the Ramblas, its alittle bit of Palma history and does MDD for about 12 euros, wine from barrels and taps in the wall(yes taps in the wall in the dining area!) Go to the chocolateria Can Joan sang near the town hall, or go to the santa Catalina area where theres a real range of great places to eat and amuse yourself
