Have just watched tonight's episode where Rick Stein was in Corfu & at the end he arrived in Palma with a taster of next week's program including lamb at Es Verger - so do look out for next week's episode:

Rick Stein's Mediterranean Escapes August 22nd - 8:00pm on BBC 2

Rick Stein discovers the many varied delights of Mediterranean food on a trip around the region. In Mallorca he finds wonderful seafood dishes and the most succulent roast lamb he's ever tasted, while in Barcelona he samples Catalonian food at the famous Boqueria market.

Hi Pollensa

Really looking forward to the next episode, it's been a great series so far.
Loved watching him travel around Corfu, we're back there next month ( our 6th visit in the last 2 years ).
I'm sure he'll bring out the best of Majorca, hope PP gets a mention.

Carl.

Rick is back in Mallorca again on the Good Food channel now!!!

Good tip! Just managed to get the TiVo box to record him on Good Food +1.

Can't believe it's near 9 years since this episode first aired.

Wasn't this the one where the secret ingredient in the lamb at Es Verger was shown to be cans of Heineken?

I'm sure it was "San Miguel"

Great restaurant...we were tucking into our lamb.. beautiful ... when a sheep kept coming into the room ... The waiter kept tickling it under the chin, he did wash his hands!! it would go back out... I'm sure it was looking for a relation, maybe on our plates  .. but it was great.
