Yes Zelda this is brilliant news and i am told by the lady who set this up that more may be joining in. Also there could be a similar scheme set up in the old town :D:D.

This is a great idea - maybe we could have a forum meet up one evening and walk the trail to see how many places we can take in! I think it is especially good for venues who may be a bit off the beaten track and for new visitors to the Port, it will allow them to see more of the delights PP has to offer.
Belladonna, I do think suitable footwear would be necessary ! :D

Have always enjoyed Tapalma in October so delighted with something similar in PP. Will definitely check this out in April.

Great idea but with 12 on the list already  I think we need several trails!! 12 small beers is a heavy nights worth!! 12 small wines is 2 bottles!! Food as well!! ;)

Will have to hollow out the legs in preparation!!

Do you have a link to their facebook page? I'd be interested in having a look.

Hi Simon, just search on this and you should get them, La Ruta Del Tapeo Pollensa Miguel, cheers

I will offer to try this out on 29 th March ..... All for the same of research of course

Thanks Sparky and sws, I've found him on facebook - he fooled me by making it his personal page rather than a public page.

This is a fantastic idea - though have to say I have always found tapas in PP to be a little disappointing, especially as there are such fantastic tapas restaurants in Palma and elsewhere in Mallorca... am willing to revise my opinion though!

Indeed this is a great idea. It's all about getting people in through the doors at a reasonable price.

I too look forward to trying it but yes, it must be good quality.

There will be little questionaires in each bar to tick off sections on tapas, atmosphere, service, friendliness and locale. At the end of each week the winning bar will be published in local papers and radio. Therefore giving the winner a bonus for the next weeks route, this will encourage bars to keep up the standard. ;)

Great idea! :) Looking forward to trying it. The questionaires will be good too, will keep everyone on their toes. Thanks for posting the FB link.
