Here I go showing my ignorance and possibly age too! What does this mean? Sorry!

I have an Iphone can you please explain what I need to do? Thanks.

A QR code is a 21st Century version of a bar code. You scan it with your phone using a QR code app on your phone. Once scanned the code contains instructions for iPhone to do something, usually to load a webpage.

You need to install an app first. On my iPhone I use the free app QR Reader for iPhone. If you have Android, Blackberry or Windows Phones you need to download an app for your phone.

Here is how to download and install the QR Reader for iPhone:

1. Go to the App Store on your iPhone

2. Search for and select the free version of QR Reader for iPhone

3. Click on the FREE button to install

Once it has installed run the app, point your iPhone at the QR code on your computer screen. The app will automatically scan the QR code and the Ruta del Tapeo page will magically load.

You can then select a bar and be taken to a location map.

Hope that helps.

Great addition Sparky, excellent food there and friendly staff, hopefully help to get a few more through the door as well, and what a view!

The tapas route is just such a fantastic way of getting people to try places they wouldn't normally go to - such as La Cabana, which I've been past countless times but for no good reason never gone in... I really hope that they do it again next year and that they manage to keep it at such a low price!

‎La Cabana and Geminis 18 will be doing a practice run tonight as they will be joining the route in June :D.

Great news that Geminis 18 will also be joining for the summer, even if they are a Real Madrid bar;), cant wait, greetings all from a hot and sunny Florence :). Enjoy the Ruta del Tapeo tonight everyone

On the Ruta del Tapeo as I type
So far bar rustic - excellent
Ivy49 - even better
Planning 4 more eu moll; rumba; cabana and bella vista

Then I will need a strong coffee :)

Seriously beginning to think the wine to food ratio may be wrong lol

Really enjoying reading this thread we will definitively be joining in when we are in PP. Are any of the venues better than others or is it too early to say?

I suppose it is a bit unfair to say which are the best, as they all try so hard anyway! It also depends on what time you get to places, they earlier the better for food in most cases; a bit later on you get a better buzz; then if you end up somewhere pretty late, you risk problems!!
Ivy Garden did come top of our list though, with Rustic Cafe a very close second, but we were totally let down by Bellavista which we had saved until last. Probably our fault, but a bit of bread with potatoe salad on was not what we were hoping for at 10.30! Luckily everywhere else had been great and we were in a lovely group of people who had all enjoyed the wine (!) so it did not ruin anything at all!
Looking forward to trying some again, and other new ones! :)

We too were very disappointed with Bellavista, only getting a 2 x 1 inch piece of tortilla.:(

Thats such a shame Whaley, it did look lovely in the dark and we had not visited before. But if they dont get their act together they will lose out on people returning which is a shame.

PS. Thanks for the links Pollensa, I wondered why only one had turned blue! ;)
