This could be good.........there are plans for a lunchtime Ruta along the Front line, it will be a bit dearer at 2.50€. I can't say any more just yet but watch this space .

This Friday 29th March will be the last Friday Ruta, it will move back to Thursdays from 4th April .

I have now updated the page on our website at puertopollensa.com/tapas-route.html with the latest list for April, May & June
on Thursdays from 7pm - 11 pm.

We don't yet have a Map or flyer to download but as you'll see we have location maps for those places who already advertise with us. Will let you know as soon as we have the flyer & of course you can pick them up in PP.

Geminis18 will not be on La Ruta tonight, they are closed until Tuesday 2nd April but will rejoin from Thursday 4th April .

Great Ruta last night with 3 generations of our family ranging from 19 to 84
Didn't get to that many places due to limited mobility but started at the wonderful Rustic Cafe and ended in Tots listening to Guillermo, Santiago and Carlos. Also managed to take in another great 10 euro MDD at C'an Torrens along the way

We will be arriving on Wed(thank goodness) and hopefully will be trying the Tapas route on Thursday.
Any ideas on where to start and do we just mention that we are on the Ruta del Tapeo?

Thanks to this forum decided to give the tapas route a go on our first ever visit. Thoroughly enjoyed it and a great way to try some bars and restaurants not located on the sea front.
Our personal fave was Tots Bar and Grill who offered a selection of tapas and very good red Rioja
Our experience was let down by Juniors who served up a processed lasagne that was only slightly warmer than a frozen glass of red.

All in all a good evening and a chance to meet others doing the route and share recommendations with each other.

Yes we arrived after sitting on the plane at Luton for nearly hour tech problem intercom not working, cant they shout.

I have just heard that Rustic Cafe will NOT be open for the tapas route tomorrow Thursday 18th April.

I bumped into Miguel on the Ruta tonight and he told me that the bar has been closed because of work on the drains, this has now been done, they are going to have a Spring clean and he will be re-opening next Tuesday 23rd April .
