Having been visiting PP for over 25 years I thought I
would never see drug users/dealers operating in the
street near the Pine Walk area in broad daylight.
Why can't the Guarda Civil patrol and take these people
off the streets, as if it is ignored it will get a lot worse.
It always is, the few spoil things for the many and I suppose
if we don't like it, we will have to just ignore it, like everyone else !

Drug dealing in most Countries is an illegal activity. I have never witnessed such an activity in Pollensa having visited literally hundreds of times over many many years. I would very much hope this was a one off. Even if it was just a one off it is still just as illegal and therefore should be reported to the appropriate authorities. Perhaps they are unaware - in which case more the reason for them to be informed.
This certainly needs to be addressed immediately. Perhaps if it is witnessed then a discreet photograph taken to show the police, maybe all it needs for them to take action.

Like Eleanor, i have never witnessed dealing or taking drugs here but as in any town the world over, it obviousy goes on. Unfortuneately the police can't be on every street corner and must rely on the public reporting these incidents.

Similar experience to Plackeyman on tree'd area between Pine Walk and Boquer
areas back in June. The odd unsavoury individuals in broad daylight - quite a shock at the time. They didn't seem bothered or even try to shy away. Happened on several occasions in similar location during our stay. Didn't see this anywhere else in P.P.
Never seen it before in P.P. Hope it will be nipped in the bud.
Also saw a somewhat less than flamboyant "tarta de casa" being talked to by the 'policia' at the I'lla D'or after she tried to 'do a bunk' without paying for her drinks.
One of the waiters 'aprehended' her. Quite a talking point over drinks on the terrace!!!
She eventually staggered off with difficulty in her 4" stilletto's. LOL!

Unfortunatly the sight of people selling drugs in the park area between the Pine walk and Boquer has been going on for at least the last 6 years while I have owned an apartment in the area and no doubt before that as well.

The police do visit the area on a regular basis but it does not seem to deter the sellers who often come by car usually in the afternoon or early evening.

The Senor.

I suppose it is a sign of the times and nowhere is free of this awful activity.
Personally this is far more important then dog mess on pavements!
Although, of course, it would be nice to clear both!
