I visit Pollensa at least twice a year...I'm coming over next week (can't wait) - but my sister has just returned and told me the restaurant ran by the Scottish couple (behind the church in the old town) has shut down? - can you confirm please....

On our very first visit to Pollensa many years ago we had a special 'last night' meal and I always remember that holiday.
We had some great meals there over the years and we had a memorable wedding anniversary night in la font del gal a few years ago. I will miss it.

La Font del Gal is no longer being run by the Scottish couple ... but ... the restaurant next door 'El Brio' is now running it ... (with a separate menu from their own) ... they have kept on the same staff ie the waiting staff and it still has that same old magic ... I had dinner their a couple of nights ago and it was lovely ... I will be posting a report in the next couple of days
