I see on Facebook that they are offering Sundown Music Sessions on Saturdays and Sundays at 6:30pm, featuring "LAHOX".

Wandered down here for an evening drink..no food as I was cooking 'in' tonight.
The place was buzzing with lots of young locals and a DJ was playing very repetitive chill out music, which after a while became rather annoying.

But hey it was a lovely evening looking out over the bay and I really enjoyed my G and T. That was until the bill arrived... 8.50€!!!!!

We called in for a drink one afternoon in April...only had beers and they were pretty expensive 😏

Yes this is now número uni in the cava charts even beating Argos and Capuccino for the most expensive cava in Pollensa. I can drop into eroski and buy a bottle of cordoniu for what they charged me this evening for one glass. Back to the real world please...

Get the feeling it wants to be a night club with club priced drinks. We found it ok for a lunch, but not somewhere we will make a point of going to. :o

Find of the holiday for us, loved it, great for a daytime beer off the beach or pre sundowners, very friendly staff, will post more later with pics, if its good enough for the Guardia is good enough for me!! Loved the chilled out feeling....oh and 3.60 for a large beer which wasn't the most expensive I paid :):)
PS I am back BTW

Yes, but only for a few days I hope for the people over now, PS the Sea Bar has a roof, as Sparky says it doesn't rain in the bars!! :)

As promised, report on the Sea Bar, loved the new place and was surprised how big it is, the terrace extends around three sides with a large bar in the middle with seats. It has blinds it can pull down if it gets breezy, and a roof if needed.
They do have a snack menu with the usual snacks, we tried the paninis one day which were great, but we mainly went for drinks after the beach on the way back to the apartment, or for a quick drink when it got too hot on the beach.
Very chilled out relaxing bar during the day full of locals and tourists, and sometimes the Guardia! Nice chill out tunes during the day, more lively at night with live music and DJ's.
Lovely comfortable chairs and benches and a great place to people watch.
A great addition to the port and I think they will do very well there

Thanks for the report and the great pictures.

Very enticing.
Just have to veer a little to the side on the way to the apartment in August ... :)

Will defo be going there looks my kind a place .

as I say I foresee a good year for them, famous last words, but its pitched just right I think, and an ideal location, it would be useful to have reviews of the food as we only had a panini!:cool:

Like a lot of bars, they have regulars, enough said!! ;) No issues it just happens, its a surprise when you see it, they were probably off duty anyway

The GC post is just around the corner from the Sea Bar which is obviously handy.
Closest place for them now I'd say.

Its ok Tangoman, when they asked after you I said I hadn't seen you ;);)
