You should have been here in April. For most of the month there were two planes doing their annual pre-season training. On one occasion they flew in formation the whole length of the bay and released the water simultaneously. Of course it was the one occasion when I didn't have camera with me.

My son managed to get a video of that when they were here. Looked really spectacular. The old place just isn’t the same at the moment without the plane!

So much for my afternoon naps on the beach. I do not object to the firefighting planes as they are providing a service but other arrivals will not benefit Pollensa as the occupants will no doubt not stay local but wizz off to other island resorts where they can enjoy being seen.

I think your afternoon beach naps are safe. The chances of any or too many sea planes disrupting it are remote, I'd say.
