I came back to the house to find a guy from Verisure outside surveying the street. He asked if I'd be interested in a system and I said yeah, and he arranged to come back 2 days later... anyway, the cost was €500 up front and €50/month... I said i just don't have that kind of money at the moment and bid him farewell. It then dawned on me that I'd just shown a stranger around my house and he knows I don't have an alarm.... I got straight in my car and went down to Leroy Merlin and my own cameras for €15 each... they're brilliant!!!

I can monitor then live from the UK. They detect motion and notify my mobile phone. Move them around and even talk through them. That certainly freaked my son out when he arrived the other day

Great for peace of mind at the moment!!
