What do you think of this seating for the frontline? :-
...

Nice seating, wrong location.
So does not go with the beautiful villas where they dropped it outside.

In some ultra-modern marina environment maybe, but the snow crystal design (or whatever it's meant to be) does look totally misplaced.

Nice wide promenade with those things to bang your knee against ...

Don't like that at all. As mentioned before it looks like a sculpture. The design is too modern. You only have to look at the chaps face walking by, I think he agrees.

It is bit too pointy- easy to bump into by children, pushchairs, mobility scooters. Whatever happened to a nice old fashioned bench?

Oh purleeese!!! Seriously? I think someone is trying very hard to totally change the character of Puerto Pollensa. :(

There's also some more of these structures/sculptures immediately opposite on the other (beach) side of the road. They look like concrete sunbeds, and have to be seen to be believed!

Sorry, but the more I look at the picture the more ugly it looks. Also being pure white like that, you are going to get an awful glare off the sun.:(

OMG could it get any worse!!!

Absolutely vile and does not go with the equally vile grey concrete. I'm going to have to go and lie down in a dark room

Whoever the people are responsible for designing this entire pedestrianisation project

A) Have no taste whatsoever

B) Should be sacked

IMO

Could not have said it better myself;)

Have taken pictures..will post later.

Basically the kids all think the structures are great and are walking all over them. They are already covered in little footprints. They are also very rough and I would imagine not comfortable to sit on ...and will snag people's clothes!

Wouldn't like to try sitting on one of these in the heat of the summer! Could cause heat damage just:D where you don't want it!:D

So here I am back in sunny Blighty, busy painting my new shed, living the dream, paint pot half full, when Mrs E shouts out have seen the forum today? No I reply why? Look at this seating she says, oh my, I reply that's a bit of something I've not seen before, should that be lying there like that? Surely a sculpture like that should be upright? No you sit on it she tells me, well I say, whatever next. Then I read the beds and brollies situation has descended into chaos again. Somebody should really turn this little spring into summer Pollensa saga into a book.
Still my shed looks nice and I don't have to worry about Pollensa council stopping me accessing it until September
