Shipping to Mallorca

Hello
We are relocating to Pollensa and am looking at ways of bringing out furniture and personal effects. It seems most companies double in price when you mention Mallorca! Does anyone have any recommendations for who to use? We are also looking at hiring a van from here, driving back empty and bringing full......if anyone is moving back to the UK by chance, that could work out well!
