Surely it's cheaper to get them delivered

You would think so however -
I need 100 slabs. They will only deliver 60 in one go so thats two deliveries. Price for delivery from Bauhaus to Alcudia is 80€ each trip. So -
Cost of slabs 159€.
Cost of delivery 160€

I think I'd be heading to Cuxach or Optimus at the Poligon for those things. Bauhaus are decent but yeah, they're not cheap when the delivery is hefty.

Deanscroft, how much does each slab (tile?) weigh ?

Approx 4kg each.

400kilos is a bit much for the smallest trailers. Maybe a van hire will be simpler.

I did think of that but the nearest van hire is Inca and is not that much cheaper than the delivery. Two journeys with a small trailer looks favourite.
