Sunday Roast in Hell's Kitchen.

A sure sign that summer is drawing to a close, Sunday roast lunches are back on the menu in Hells' Kitchen from this weekend 18th September 1pm-4pm, 3 courses inc. bread, olives, alioli and a drink for 15.50€.

I also noticed the 'A' board outside Hells Kitchen today - after the flag cracking weather we have had this week, I thought the advertised Sunday Roast Lunch was some kind of joke!

Has the Sunday Lunch ever not been available?
We had Roast Beef + at the end of June this year.

Stephen, roast dinners have been available at Hells Kitchen throughout the summer, but only in the evenings. Its the lunchtime that has just started up again.

Clinkham, for those of us that live here, the occasional Sunday Roast is wonderful. I haven't had one for 6 months and can't wait to go again at lunchtime. (Well, would you want to put the oven on in 32 degrees!).

It was about 2.30pm on Sunday June 26th.
Looking back now I'm not sure it was a sensible idea to be eating a Sunday lunch in 75 degree heat.

Stephen i think you will find that they stopped serving roast at lunchtime shortly after that. As Barefoot said when the temperatures are in the 30s outside it is just too hot to cook it or even eat it . In other words if it's roasting out, you don't want to be roasting in .

I ate in hell's kitchen three times last week, always from 'menu del dia' but on the sunday night I could have had the sunday roast if I'd wanted it. Everything I chose was lovely and the two waitresses were very friendly and helpful. If you have a sweet tooth try the cappucchino creme brulee it's delicious!!
