Afaik it's usually half a bottle per person (or a bottle for two in other words), but I'm open to correction.

Not sure what they do if one wants white, the other red...

It's actually half bottles that they serve, unless of course you are both drinking the same:)

What day of the week are they closed and does the menu of the day always stay the same ( like Trio) ?

What day of the week is Tango closed and do they keep the same MDD?

Tango always used to close on a Thursday and i think they still do. I will find out for you for sure.

Just back from Tango luckily we were in for all the rain. Great meal and friendly staff, there was a sign saying that they close on Monday.

That is strange because i spoke to a family member last night and he said that they were going to open every day .

They definitely have a sign at the entrance saying closed on Monday for staff rest at the moment. I walked by this morning to check. The 18.50 euro menu looks fab too, with lots of choice on each course. 😀😀😀

I think it is the old sign that Trio had in the window so a bit confused.

This one is probably for you Pips, as you may well be the last person on the forum to actually each in Tango(s).

SNOWY posted on this thread on 23rd April, and showed the Tango menu. which looked tempting indeed. I was wondering has it changed at all since then, or is that it for the season???

Yes that was the set menu, I had the onion soup roast chicken and ice cream Tim went a bit off course and had prawn cocktail roast chicken no dessert, half bottle of red for him water for me, olives alioli bread included. Even though Tim had a different starter and I had a glass of beer the bill was for 2 set meals, excellent value and lovely food, the twins were there and Manolo was in great form, discussing whiskey with Tim,kindred souls.

I am so disappointed that they close on Mondays as we arrive on a Monday and Trio was always our first night meal so we were hoping to continue the tradition with Tango! I hope Joker is still open on Mondays as we always have lunch there as soon as we arrive on our first day! (though I can't recall ever seeing it closed). Then off to Eroski to stock up!

I've waited to use this expression for some time, so now's my chance .........

Tangoman calling tangofan, Tangoman calling tangofan!

Where exactly is Eroski, please? Is it far from the roundabout down at the marina?

Hahaha!

Eroski is just a minute away from the roundabout. I am not very good at directions but you go straight up the road that has Dragon Oriente on the corner. Eroski is on the right next to Bar Rumbo. It is only the small branch but it has everything you need like wine, beer, chocolate etc etc!

There is a much larger branch some distance away but not necessary in my opinion. Also seem to have a big problem with pickpockets etc in that branch.
