I'd like to recommend Taxi Bisbal. It's more than just a taxi service, you get a 'life councelling' lesson in with the price. You see when the proprietor and only driver Alphonsa Bisbal picks you up from the airport, by the time you arrive in Puerto Pollensa, she has told you exacly where you are going wrong in life and what you should be doing. That is if you're flight arrives on time. If you have the misfortune of being delayed then Taxi Bisbal won't be there at all and Alphonsa will demand an apology from you. Great service.

Sorry. I was being sarcastic. We've had some terrible episodes with Taxi Bisbal. We now use Onofre Serra Rayo who's a very nice guy and speaks good English. Refreshingly, he and all of his drivers don't feel the need to do the 'macho' bit behind the wheel, so you get to your destination in one piece.

Good service from Taxis Bisbal

I know it was a long time ago but perhaps monty perera didn't like conversations in a cab!

I've found Taxis Bisbal extremely helpful and flexible - even when there has been a long delay!

Alfonsa is quite chatty on the journey and brings me up to date with what is happening in the resort.

She has also proved very helpful when liaison has been needed with a Spanish owner.

Anyway, she is still very much in business and I always look forward to our chats.

Recommend Taxi Bisbal

In response to an earlier (sarcastic) note, we can thoroughly recommend Taxi Bisbal for transfers to/from Puerto Pollensa. We have been coming back to 'the port' for more than 10 years now and (with one lapse) have used Alphonsa (Taxi Bisbal) on each occasion - so much so, that she has now become a regular feature! Friendly, helpful, amusing and instructive (I learn more & more Spanish on each trip!) our holidays wouldn't be the same without her. Recommended.
