Hi,
Can anyone tell me if there are any tennis facilities available for the general public to use?

We use the courts at the Duva apartments; they are open to non residents. In the summer months we reserve a court a day in advance, but it's not always necessary. The sports desk is downstairs from reception. These courts have a lovely outlook!

There are public tennis courts at the swimming pool (i am told the pool is closed until September )in C/Vicenc Buades overlooking the car park.

Pool closed until September, thats crazy. It was so nice before put a roof on, still dont understand why they could not have put a sliding roof on so we could have the best of both worlds!!
The Hotel Uyal and the Hotel Illa d´Or also have tennis courts and there are further courts in Pollensa town.

They are closing the pool in the port while the one in Pollensa at the sports centre which is open air is open, as you say all down to cost.There are tennis courts at the Pollentia Club along the seafront but not sure if you have to be resident to use them.

I can recommend the courts at the Illa Dor. They have the benefit of refreshments on hand!
They cost 7 euros per hour. Call hotel to book on 971 86 51 00.

Tennis on clay

Folks - just a quick question I'm hoping someone can help with.....

We're staying at Duva for a couple of weeks at end of Aug and I have an 8yr old who trains for tennis every day at home. I'm looking for a facility in Pollensa to allow him to play on a clay court surface, just for the variety (I believe the Duva have 'normal' hard court surfaces).

If anyone knows of a venue, if they could post some location/contact details, that'd be great....
