I've been to the beach - it is fairly small and stony. we didn't go to the restaurant as it was many years ago with young children and we were on a tight budget! cheese and ham or salami baguettes on the beach.

There is a big rock in the sea just off the beach which is great for jumping off :)

Anyone know where the filming was in tonights episode?
 
When they went into "town" they were in puerto soller , the villa where the agents are staying must be somewhere in Baracas or malpas
 
The agents villa is directly across the bay at Malpas.
I thought the ice cream truck mught have been Poto Cristo rather than Soller
 
I haven't seen it yet but my daughter has posted on Facebook that Jose from Centric played a cameo role as a priest in last nights episode :)

CD - it was just the shot of the marina through the trees didn't look like Soller to me
 
Definitely Puerto Soller

There is a car park as you come into the port and you walk through a park and up some steps onto a paved area which leads to the sandy beach - this is where they walked ....... Also there is a shot of the distinctive black and white striped lighthouse
 
I havnt seen the last programme but the brother in law, who comes from Soller, says it's definitely there.
 
Having looked at it again you are right - I didn't recognise the port from the area they filmed in - I will have to go investigating next time I am there!
 
Ah !!! Chief Inspector Clouseau I will say this only once.
This is a sort of James Bond Spy caper not a who done it.
Important Questions to be answered are ?? Where are the Fire Planes and
Ferries to Formentor. these could be smuggling the Arms.
Watch out for Vera at the Ill a Dor.
The Hairy Bikers at Tollo's
Me And Madam in Sol Y Mar.
Or any other missing tv Persons.
Bet those taxi's have I'm famous stickers by season start

It is...Looking towards the sea, the bars on the right are our stops for a late drink coming back to our hotel (Marina)after having our evening meals in the Port....wonderful (but still behind PP!!!!) :rolleyes:
 
Watched the programme. Deffo Soller.

The bit where they were getting ice creams from the van is Playa Repic - as Bootledodger spots, just near the Marina Hotel.
 
According to the Mallorcan Bulletin La Fortaleza is open to the public four days a year. Yesterday was was one of those days.Did anyone go and does anyone know when the next three are?

I think it was due to be open yesterday but i read a post on FB earlier which said it didn't happen :confused:.

Was this filmed North of La Victoria in the Military Zone.
As we are not allowed in to see inside I was surprised that part of the Island is just like a desert.
I bet the Special Effects looked great from the Port all those explosions and Rockets
Hope it tied in with a Saints day.
Last episode next Sunday...ANY LOCATION CLUES ??????
 
I would very much doubt that the arms scene in the desert ever took place. Can you imagine the cost, logistics and equipment needed to stage that. Let alone the relevant permissions.

I'd imagine it was all computer graphics. I think you'd be surprised how much is these days.
