My ideal relaxing start to the day ahead is a quiet coffee with the daily paper.
Any suggestions ? ( staying in apartment about 5 mins walking from trios)

start to the day

Buy a newspaper in the Voramar Supermarket, then take a nice stroll along the Pine Walk and have breakfast in the Illa D'Or Hotel. :)

Or, stroll along the front with your newspaper and take coffee & ensaimada in Los Faroles - they do wonderful coffee there!

Thanks Lorenzo. Can you be a bit more specific wheer Los Faroles is please. i know Ila D'Or

Try El Pozo on the main street Joan XXIII opposite Eroski. Its near the paper shop too and has a nice relaxed atmosphere.

Los Faroles

You'll find Los Faroles if you walk all along the Anglada Camarassa esplanade, then pass the marina roundabout, and carry on past the shops on the front. Los Faroles is a bit further along past the Bar Imperial. It's more of less opposite the marina car park. Great coffee & ensaimadas - and also a great place to eat in the evening, especially if you like fresh fish.

There is one of the wonderful Casa Bestard photo prints of Puerto Pollensa inside Los Faroles and if the waiters are not too busy, they will show you where the Restaurant is on the old photo. :)

If in the town its a slow walk down to the square for the papers and a coffee in Bar Numero Ocho, great coffee and very strong just what I need normally, if in the port its usually Cafe L'Algar in the square great coffee and cakes and good for people watching.

Thats the one Cafe S'Algar

Very nice wish we were there now !
