The weather now in PP - 2011

Hola amigos this morning is dry but very overcast with a SW breeze, my weather station is still showing rain so i think it will remain unsettled for a few days yet.
The pressure is 1003 and falling.
The temperature is 11.3c.

Sparky I am in Tenerife the weather is great low 20s every day much cheaper than PP to eat out good quality food got nought to do with weather but just thought I add it.

Hi Snowy yep the weather in Tenerife is usually better than Mallorca at this time of year and it is cheaper there because it is "duty free", nice place but i don't think it has the soul that PP has. Enjoy your stay and see you here in April .

Majorca lashed by heavy rain as temperatures drop by 5ºC

PALMA
A wave of Atlantic weather fronts have brought an end to the glorious weather we have been enjoying for the past few weeks yesterday morning.
Between 10am and 1pm, torrential rain fell across the island with 19 litres of rain per square metre recorded in the Serra d’Alfabia, 15 litres in Campos, 12 litres in the Port of Pollensa, 12 litres in Lluc and 10 in Palma.

A burst of extremely heavy rain also fell on Palma airport where five litres of rain per square metres fell in just five minutes.
At least conditions dried up yesterday afternoon but further outbreaks of torrential rain are expected this evening and over night.
Agustin Jansa, the Director of the Balearic Meteorological centre said that the sudden snap in the weather was forecast but no weather alerts are planned for the time being.

Conditions were also rather cooler yesterday.
According to Jansa, maximum temperatures fell by between 1.5ºC and 5ºC while minimum temperatures were between 3ºC and 4ºC lower than they have been over the past few weeks.

Showers and isolated heavy outbreaks of rain will linger for the next few days but conditions are forecast to improve significantly as we near the weekend.



Time to put those flip flops away and get the wellies out perhaps Sparky - then you can splash about whilst singing "21 Today!" Have a good birthday, hope the sun comes out for you.

Bon dia amigos the sun is shining at the moment but there are a few menacing looking clouds about and there is a strong N wind blowing. The forecast is for sunshine and thundery showers.
The pressure is 998.
The temperature is 14.1c in the shade and 15.8c in the sun.

It is a bright sunny morning here today with a few clouds bubbling up and there is a gentle W/SW breeze. Thundery showers are forecast again.

To those who may have been scratching their heads, but were too polite to comment, regarding the 17degs C in Lancashire yesterday..... err, unknown to me someone had brought inside the remote sensor of the weather station. So you will be interested to know that it was 17c in the kitchen yesterday, not 17c on the bird table outside. Sorry

Just to let you know we have just had a very heavy shower and the temperature has dropped from 18c to 12c .

Hola people yesterday we had quite a few very heavy showers and a few rumbles of thunder but it is sunny this morning, however there is a strong NE wind blowing which is keeping the temperature down, the forecast is for showers today and sunny on Saturday and Sunday.
The pressure is 1009 hPa.
The temperature is 13.2c in the shade and 14.4c in the sun .
