The weather now in PP - 2011

Morning all, lovely sunny start to the week but there is a nippy S breeze. As SWS has said it is all due to change later in the week have just watched the TV forecast and it, like all the websites i follow are forecasting rain for Thursday/Friday.
The pressure is 1031.
The temperature is 16.6c in the shade and 18.8c in the sun.
The UV index is 3 rising to 7.

Can anyone tell me what the weather is usually like in early June? Chilly evenings? We'll be in the port late May early June and mrs Poole is wondering whether to pack her cardigan

Law of average says it should be fine. But it did not warm up properly until 19/20th June last year IMO everybody should pack a cardie/woolen at anytime.

I personally like the heat of May/early June (as opposed to July & August)....so it was certainly hot enough for me last year. Couldn't cope with 36.7c that it has been lately.... ...but I know that would just be perfect for others. The weather sure if a funny old thing!!

To the 'Poolies'.
I agree with Favie. Late May / Early June is a wonderful time to visit Pollensa.
We have usually been lucky with plenty of sun and favourable temperatures.
But this is the time of year when the Med is steadily settling into its summer weather patterns and on some occasions you can get a bit of changeable weather.
Best for Mrs P to take her 'cardi' with her for later in the evening.
The last couple of years I have taken a light jacket, but haven't needed it.
Enjoy.
p.s. It was warm enough for me in May / June Smiddy. Don't like it when it gets to mid - late 30's / early 40's.

Buenas dias, yes as SWS says it is cloudy today with a light N breeze but the sun is making brief appearances. I am afraid both of my weather stations are showing rain also the TV and websites are forecasting rain for Thursday/Friday .
The pressure is 1011.
The temperature is 17.3c in the shade and 19.6c in the sun.
The UV index is 1 rising to 7.

Yesterday, low temp 12.4c high temp 34.3c.

Seems to have been some very high temperatures in P.P. the last week or two;
you show yesterdays lowest at 11.8 deg.C and highest at 29.8 deg.C
Are these taken in the shade, as I presume they would be..... if so, very hot in P.P. for time of year?

Pescador every morning i give the temperatures in the shade and in the sun (if there is any sun). The highs and lows are just for added info, the low being recorded overnight and the high in the afternoon in direct sun.

Just to add to the comments, wall to wall sun here all day and 28c this afternoon in the garden. The view of Wakefield Cathedral with Ferrybridge Power Station in the background just doesn't quite match up to the view across the harbour in PP!!!

The UV index is 2.

Yesterdays low = 13c and high = 18.8c.

P.S It is now raining heavily.
