Hi Sparky, we are home and the weather is awful. Its cold and its raining in "Sunny Devon " WE ARE NOT LIVING THE DREAM LIKE YOU, JUST DREAMING, BUT, OUR GLASS IS FULL ! of rainwater. Thanks for your updates Cheers S.&.L:mad:
 
Oh S&L, i am sorry you are having a bad summer again, being a "Devon Maid" i know how depressing the place can be in bad weather but also it is so beautiful when the sun shines, hopefully it will improve for you soon :(;).

P.S. The wind is now picking up again .

Hi folks - yes it's raining in Shropshire too - back from PP on sunday and it has hardly stopped - can't believe we were out on the beach this time last week feeling so wonderfully hot. Had a fabulous week but missed meeting up with anyone from the forum on thursday last, at Marine cafe, but the coffee was great and we went for lots more over the week. We were always late for everything but will try again next time - trying to book a week mid september - this time without the other 7 family - so will be using hotel - any comments on Bahai, Sangla and Ayul (not sure about spelling) or any other suggestions along Pine Walk.

Hola amigos, we have another glorious morning here and at the moment there is a gentle N breeze :D. It's still looking like some rain on Sunday though :(.

Hola amigos, we did have a little rain yesterday evening, i think it amounted to about 6 drops per square metre ;). Today looks like it's going to be a repeat of yesterday with sunshine and cloud with a gentle breeze.

Buenas dias amigos, it is a very grey morning here....in fact it has just begun to rain as i type. There was no wind but that has started to spring up now.
The forecast is for thunderstorms today, rain showers on Wednesday but ok for the rest of the week.

Good morning all, well we had quite a lot of showers yesterday and it was much cooler than of late. Today is better with sun and clouds and a light variable breeze, unfortunately thunderstorms are forecast for Wednesday.

Good morning all, wow!! that was a wild night, got shook out of my bed at 2am by a massive thunderstorm :eek:. As forecast on Monday it is not good this morning and more storms are due but it should clear later. The rest of the week should be sunny but there is a risk of more storms on Saturday.

Bon dia amigos we have a mix of sun and clouds with a light variable wind. There are thunderstorms due this afternoon and i was told last night that one of the boat charter companies have cancelled a special party/disco/bbq cruise they had been advertising because of the forecast.

I know, I just checked the Stay webcam,it does look dark,hopefully it will be gone by tomorow morning,can you keep blowing it away ?
 
Can you really believe this PP weather is year?? It must be one of the worst starts to a summer in recent years. I just hope that a new month can change all that!
 
Yes Jiggy i feel sorry for the tourists when the weather is bad, but yesterdays storm was very short lived (Alcudia had the worst of it ;)) and there has been more of a summer here than in most parts of the UK.
Moving on to today, we have sun and clouds with very little wind. The forecast is looking good for the week ahead :D.

Good morning everyone and it is absolutely lovely here, blue sky and unbroken sunshine with a light ESE breeze. Although Wednesday looks a bit cloudy there is no rain forecast and the outlook for the week is very good.:D
