Yes Jiggy i feel sorry for the tourists when the weather is bad, but yesterdays storm was very short lived (Alcudia had the worst of it ) and there has been more of a summer here than in most parts of the UK.

Most parts of the UK!!? All the parts of the UK havnt had a summer yet? Lets hope it all changes in 3 weeks time when i'll be in the Lakes again!

Come and live in Gods' Own County( Yorkshire ) Jiggggy, we've had a belter so far. No rain to speak of for months and the sun is, as I speak "cracking the slabs". Even 2 weeks ago when we left Palma Airport in cloud, we got back to wall to wall sun and temperatures a couple of degrees warmer than in Mallorca. Temperature at the moment (8am) 20.3 c.

Buenas dias amigos, we have had a litte bit of rain overnight and it is quite a dull start to the day but we are getting some sunny spells and it is very humid at 80%, hopefully it will clear in the WNW breeze.

Tonsyl: Also live in 'God's Own County'. May have been v.good for you 'wessies' but it has been cloudy on the coast. Unfortunately we haven't had the same temperatures as you or P.P. but still not complaining, it has been reasonably dry and warm.

OMG! Please tell me the weather is going to improve? We are in very sunny Newcastle (yes, honestly) and fly out on Saturday for 2 weeks. We have a 16 year old girl, who for the first time wants to have a great sun tan for the start of college, lol! We moved house recently and really shouldn't be going on holiday due to the amount of work we have to do! However, as said 16 year old announced this may be her last family holiday, we have pushed the boat out and are coming back to the place we dipped her little feet into at 6 months old at the Ila D'or bay! We also have a 10 year old boy (to be 11 when out there) who we did the same with! It will also be our 20th anniversary when we are there! We have been back many times since, and are never disappointed! A special time with special people in a very special place! Please let the sun shine down on us all! xx
