We did not get that rain but i was told tonight Inca was flooded. However we had a heavy shower at about 10pm, at least the cars have had a wash .

I always reckon you get extra value for your holiday money by taking a holiday when the UK weather is bad.
Nothing more dispiriting than getting home to find neighbours have had a scorcher while you have been away!

Morning all i have nothing new to report, it's sunny hot and humid by day but thankfully cooler at night, the SE wind is light. The outlook is good but we do need some rain.

3 weeks to go and cant wait...just hope the weather stays warm..

It has been very consistent here since we got back in July...between 16c and 18c and mostly cloudy or wet...oh well i suppose we wont get a hosepipe ban
