Afternoon update.....it's clouded over and my weather stations are both showing rain so looks like the forecast was right , Looking good from Wed onwards though .

Hola amigos. We had some quite heavy rain overnight and it looks like today will be a mix of sunshine and showers, there is a NW breeze. Thing are due to improve from tomorrow with temperatures rising but we are expecting high winds on Friday .

The pressure is 1020.
The UV index is 3.
The temperature is 9c in the shade and 10.9c in the sun.
Yesterdays low was 7.9c and the high was 13.5c.

Meanwhile in the Pennine foothills of deepest Lancashire, its time to get the washing out before a bit of gardening in the warm springlike sunshine. Though there was frost on the car this morning.

Yes it is Eleanor but the reservoirs are already 90% full after the snow last month, so i hope the forecast is right and the sun returns tomorrow .

Yes it is Eleanor but the reservoirs are already 90% full after the snow last month, so i hope the forecast is right and the sun returns tomorrow .

That's brilliant news Sparky as I know here they were complaining that the snow didn't help our reservoirs as 'the wrong sort!"

Really pleased the reservoirs are 90% full as also being "winter' full the water doesn't have that horrid chemical feel that is evident with summer water.
As strange as that sounds! lol
We have a large water tank under our house and we ensure it is filled during the winter so we don't need to top up much during the summer months.

This post seems somewhat strange - but I know what I mean! lol Hope the sun comes out again soon for you all.

I think we have had all 4 seasons in one day today, temperatures went from 11c down to 7c when it rained and then the sun came out and it hit 20.9c .

Hola amigos. It is a bright, sunny morning with some cloud about but oh boy!! is it windy . We are on yellow alert today but that will increase to "Orange" tomorrow and Friday is looking even worse. A least there is no rain forecast .

Hola amigos. Blimey what a night, the wind has been horrendous and although it has dropped a bit we are still on alert . It is mostly cloudy and there is a risk of a shower.
