Hola amigos. We have a lovely sunny and calm morning, the week ahead looks good but of course the very high temperatures are now gone although still in the high 20s .
The pressure is 1012.
The UV index is 6.
The humidity is 90%.
The sun rises @ 7.25am and sets @ 8.05pm (approx).
The temperature is 23.2c in the shade and 24.1c in the sun.
Yesterdays low was 20.2c and the high was 32.9c.

An interesting post on todays MDPB.
In early September 1989, twenty-three years ago last week, the South-East of the island was surprised by a ferocious Gota Fría, bringing torrential rain and utter devastation with it. Entire stretches of road were swept away, trees were uprooted by the thousands and dragged away, three people were killed when a hotel basement in Portocolom was flooded, hundreds of animals drowned and chaos ensued everywhere. The area around Felanitx and Cas Concos des Cavaller was declared a disaster zone and Reina Sofía (the Spanish Queen) flew in from Madrid to visit the affected area and talk to some of the victims. Rain fell at 06h00 in the morning at a rate of 125 litres per square metre within just 30 minutes. That's about the same amount of rainfall that one could have expected to fall in one whole year. I had never seen or lived through anything like it in all my life, nor had most Mallorcans.

Hola amigos, it's sunny and calm but with a bit more cloud about. We are on yellow alert for heavy rain later today and tomorrow.
The pressure is 1009.
The UV index is 7.
The humidity is 81%.
The temperature is 25.9c in the shade and 26.5c in the sun.
Yesterdays low was 23.6c and the high was 36.4c.

Spot on sparky!! Sitting on the balcony watching a magnificent storm.....it's lovely The six people who decided it would be fun to have a swim in the pool soon got out when the fork lightning struck

Oh is it raining? That's my plants watered then!
Seriously, I love to watch the storms in PP although sometimes the thunder can be quite loud. Doesn't the sky light up with the lightening too!

Oh boy!! this is a humdinger isnt it Debz ?. It is chuckin it down, thunder, lightning, love it.
I have just left El Posito, poor Toni and Miguel are trying to stem the flood , people are waiting for taxis, i had a paddle up to my front door .

I had literally just watered mine! And then I heard a distant rumble.......... It's still raining (tipping it) althought the thunder and lightening has calmed down a bit. The sky did indeed light up Still very warm.
