Hi Sparky coming over 31st December for a few days and seen so many conflicting weather reports dont know what to pack!! Is it warm coat weather or is there a chance of sitting in the sun? Sorry you must have answered the same question many times but you know how obsessed we can get with the weather when all we get is rain rain rain. Thanks

I would suggest you pack layers, when the sun is out it's really warm but does get chilly in the evenings and when it's windy, we have just walked home through the square and it's 13c but there is a breeze which made it feel lower. I would also advise you to bring a lightweight rain coat and brolly....just in case .

We find that if we take lightweight waterproof coats on out of season holidays we don't need them, if we don't take any then we have to buy some from decathlon

So we always take the 'Lucky' Decathlon coats on holiday with us now, they are cheap ones that look a little bit like heavy duty bin bags, all creased and crinkly that zip inside their own pocket and are very well travelled but not at all stylish.

I've got a pair of holy? holey? Merrel's that I have stitched up!! ideal for good weather, seems to keep the bad weather at bay!!

Maybe you forget the soakings with such fantastic scenery!!
