Hola y bon dia amigos. It's still sunny and very hot with a WNW breeze. We are on yellow alert for high temps today .
The pressure is 1012.
The humidity is 61%.
The UV index is 9.
The temperature is 28c in the shade and 29.2c in the sun.
Yesterdays low was 24.4c and the high was 45.2c.

It's a renowned fact though isn't it........weather forecasts are there to be ignored thankfully!!

According to Meteo, June and July are only likely to have short periods of summer heat which will in turn bring heavy storms in August. September and October are likely to register higher average temperatures and less rain, the French weather agency announced yesterday. “The year without summer”, 1816, is not an old wives’ tale.

I wouldn't say that every day in July being above 30c with the final 11 days above 40c and only 1 night dipping below 20c is exactly a short period of summer heat SWS .

I didn't feel that hot Sparky!! What I meant was there is still time for August not to be as good, though looking at the forecast and the webcam that seems very unlikely
Just sticking up for the forecasters, don't forget its called a forecast and not 'this is what the weather will be like' Not that I'm biased in anyway!

The temperature is 26.8c in the shade and 27.7c in the sun.

Oh yes!!! it has been absolutely baking today, it peaked at 47.8c on my balcony and even thinking about doing anything has made me break into a sweat .
