Hola y bon dia amigos. We had hours of heavy rain yesterday with thunder/lightning and high winds overnight. It is mostly cloudy but dry this morning although a yellow alert is in place for more heavy rain.

The forecast for tomorrow is for showers and longer periods of rain.

Such a horrendous spell of weather after a fantastic spell of late autumn weather. I hope it doesn't last too long and 'normal service resumes' as soon as possible.

Ragdollabbi we had to pay for that spell of fantastic weather and it looks like it will be bad for most of next week. I have to say I quite enjoy a bit of wild weather, it makes a nice change from sun and heat but of course it's never as bad as in the UK and doesn't last as long .

Yes Rosie i thought the same thing but i just looked at my gizmo and the pressure is falling also checked out the AEMET weather site and it looks like we are in for a wild day tomorrow.
There are now orange alerts for wind/CP and a yellow alert for heavy rain .

Hola y bon dia amigos. Oh my god . In a word it's terrible, I don't think the wind has been this bad in a long time and we have had heavy rain as well. Orange alerts for wind/CP and yellow for heavy rain are still in force .

Things are calming down now, the pressure is rising and the alerts for wind and rain have been lifted, there is still a yellow alert for CP .

BBC have just reported from horrendous situation in Sardinia...the map they showed indicated Mallorca/Minorca got hit by the "tail" of that cyclone.
