The mountains have disappeared!!!! They are hidden in a thick mist. Never seen that before!

I thought it was smoke at first but it was just really low cloud/ mist. Odd!

Never ever seen such an amazing sight. All around the bay, and all down past Alcudia. I so wish I had my camera - I was all 'Lycra'd' up and cycling flat out at the time heading from Old town into PP, and having my Nikon D300 dangling slung over my shoulder just wouldn't be cool in such a cycle mad location!!!!!

The temp is really rising according to all the weather forecasts could that be the reason ?

It could be the rise in temperature and the sea still being cold, here is the definition of sea mist

Sea mist. This occurs when mild air moves over the sea, which is cooler. It can be particularly spooky when sea mist comes in during the day and visibility is drastically reduced

We are experiencing the first heat wave of summer, the Spanish term for it is "Ola calor". This is caused by very hot air is coming up from Africa, i saw this quite a few times in Devon and Cornwall but it's quite rare here. The temperature nose dived when it rolled in which made it feel even more spooky, but it shot back up as soon as it cleared.

That's a like from me! It's been uncomfortably hot the last week...more like July / August temperatures.

Mind you I hope it's only a drop in temperature of a few degrees as I took the duvet out of the cover this morning

Looks like only Mondays weather will be a chance of rain unlike it was previously forecast for possibly Saturday, Sunday & Monday. Can't believe how good the weathers been for this time of year

Its just the rain I dont want, pleased the temperature is dropping, we are going in June because last July we found it was just too hot for us!
