We have been hit by a sudden heavy storm, scary wind, torrential rain, thunder and lightning. One minute we were sat outside enjoying a lovely meal and the next our table was picked up and carried inside .

Seen a lot of these storms over the years but not so quick and windy. Staff at La Parra were standing on chairs to hold down the awnings, they were wet through all over and had to change.

It was surreal, the wind became wild so Toni and Miguel rushed to roll up the canopy, as soon as they did that the heavens opened and there was lightning all around, within seconds we sat and watched our table being carried inside, we laughed all the way through the rest of our meal .
