Dear All,
some of you may have seen the posts about migrating to Yuku. However we had already been considering moving the forum to our own servers using slightly different software as this gives us a lot more flexibility and control over the forum & its data. Along with the issues we have experienced in advance of being yuku'd - we are still waiting for a response from their support to issues raised in September - this has persuaded us that we have to move sooner rather than later.
Therefore this current ezboard will be migrated in the next few days (I don't yet have an date or time) to a forum using vBulletin software. This is easy to use, & for those who have seen Yuku is quite similar, and has a lot more comprehensive features including a good search facility and an Event Calendar.
However, the move will involve closing the forum for a few hours whilst the move takes place.
I understand that all posts should be copied over along with the date posted & name of the member who posted them.
BUT as this is a different system you will need to Register again. If you can, do use the same user name that you have on this forum & then we will be able to 'link' your old posts to your new user.
I apologise for any inconvenience caused and will let you know as soon as we know when the move is happening.
