Where is Norai and Rosa Blanca ?
There must be live music in a tourist resort, or else people won't have any evening enjoyment, other than dining out. What do the council want us to do, all be in bed by ten o'clock with a cup of cocoa? Couldn't there be a "music quarter", where local's won't be disturbed ? Either they want a thriving resort or not!

Norai Pintxos & Bar used to be called Matchpoint and is just by the roundabout by the marina - opposite the old Tourist Office and old main bus stop location (both have moved).

The Rosa Blanca is opposite the roundabout by Habitat/Duva complex.

Music in PP

Recently visited PP once more after a slight gap over the last year or two.
Walked past Norai on several evenings, people spilling out the doors and the speakers not far off the footpath on one occasion. Could be renamed (slightly) 'noisy' in my very humble opinion. Also caught an evening of music with Damia Timoner at the Miramar, a wonderful artist but possibly a little too subtle for some of your takers. There is music around if you look out for it and to be honest there is enough to suit all tastes without being too brash. After all brashness is not what the majority of visitors want in PP if I have read the general mood in the resort correctly over many years. Yes PP is still a wonderful place and the views across the bay and out towards the Tramuntana are as good as ever. Possibly a little more to come when I have settled back into the old ways back in Old Blighty and thought about it. Overall I did have a good experience in PP once again but like anywhere else things do change over the years, thankfully mainly for the better. I will certainly hope to make more visits in the future, it is still an institution for many.

The Daina's Lemon bar has music on on Tuesdays at 20:30, Gabriel Grimaldi, acoustic guitarist, performed this week

Pescador, what sort of music did Damia Timoner play at the Miramar? I have seen a guitarist there before and wonder if that was him? The person we saw was good but I have to say we much prefer Mariano at the Daina! I do agree about loud brash music, a couple of years ago we were in El Mojito (gone now I believe) and a guitarist came with a huge speaker and it was just really poor quality rock music covers which spoilt our evening but we were stuck there having ordered our meal! We were really cross as we realised afterwards that our favourite 3 Amigos from Cuba had been round the corner at its sister restaurant El Casinet that evening!

Looking forward to trying the Cuban music at Café d'eu Moll when we are out in a couple of weeks if it is a regular thing

I assume that as long as Tecun abide by the T&Cs of their license there is nothing the hotel can do. Nostalgia are still providing music and i don't know why O'Haras stopped but maybe it was too loud .
