Times are hard

As the title suggests, thats what we are told. Well you could have fooled me. Having just got back from from another great holiday i have to say i have never seen palma airport so busy, (arriving&departing). When we arrived there were so many people you could not walk at a normal pace and i'm talking midweek. I began to think they must be giving flights away lol. Gatwick on the other hand has become a complete shambles over the last few years. One hour and twenty minutes from the time we got off the plane to the time we left the airport with our bags and thats the 20th of september. Not what you'd call peak season is it. To think we used to take the mickey out of the spanish aiports.

Could not agree more Pollensafan - the airports are so busy - we were collecting our luggage in Manchester 1.00 am last sat and it felt it was a busy mid evening - and still took ages for the luggage to appear - hey ho, it was all worth the trip to PP . - only took us 1 hr 10 mins to drive to shrewsbury - usually takes almost 2 hrs so something was quick and we didn't break the speedlimit - the car would not let us !
