Really can't believe this guys but logged onto the Council provided wi fi in Pollenca Square this morning at market. Been down to the cuttlefish fare in Port D ' Alcudia all p.m.

Now back on me roof and have just been able to log on to the same wifi address. Not sure if it's the atmospherics or have the Council provided it in the square at PP as part of the renovations ?

Anyone know, guys??

Maybe they are using the same make of WiFi kit in thetwo squares. In which case the default settings/names will probably be the same. WiFi won't reach from Pollensa to PP.

'dongleless BonysLad' suggest you see the Doc asap.

What is it called? I found an open wifi channel in the proximity of L'Almiriant called 'default' that is fairly stable.

Many thanks, BL. We're going to spend most of today wandering around the old town. I've been reading some of your reviews of the eateries there. They may be a little out of date now but very helpful nonetheless.

Have now sussed it out cos the council have provided wifi here in the square in PP as well as in Pollenca old town. You just need to log onto IB-RED MUNICIPAL and bingo , away you go.

Probably not strong enough for serious downloading but pretty adequate for checking the odd site.
