WANTED: URGENTLY Wanted:- Inkjet Printer

I am looking for an Inkjet Printer in good working order and reasonably priced.
Preferably a brand name complete with inks and easy to find replacement inks in the Port.

If anyone has or knows of one for sale please send me a PM.

Obviously I am looking to buy in PP.

I am able to view between 17 -24 June.

You can buy small portable, branded inkjet printers, complete with ink, here in the uk and wouldn't take up much room in your luggage, they're quite cheap too.

That sounds interesting! At least there would be no problems getting the inks etc. Any ideas where I could get one at short notice? What do you mean by 'quite cheap'?
I'm flying out on the 17th so don't have long to find one.

Any of the large electrical stores or computer shops will stock inkjets - eg. Pc World, Staples, Currys, Comet, Tesco, Argos etc. You can pick one up for as low as £35.00, this is a no singing, no dancing printer but would do the job you want, which presumably would be printing! If you have access to the internet you could always check out 'small inkjets', for model no's and prices.

Hi Whaley. Many thanks for the input which is much appreciated. However, I have tried all the stores you mentioned already and the only actual 'portable' (as in small & light weight) are well over the £300.00 markup.

I'm aware of the normal Epson/HP models which can be bought from as little as £25.00 but these are not portable in the sense I mean. But as I said before I appreciate you taking the time to respond.

I have since found that I can pick a new one up quite cheaply (around €30) in the Port. (I didn't want the hassle of driving down to Palma)
so hopefully my problem will be solve when I arrive. May even see you there!

We bought a scanner/ printer in Confort for €70 ish and hubby found a internet company that will deliver ink cartridges to Mallorca for much cheaper than you will pay here. PM me for the details.

No longer wanted!!!

Just like to say that thanks to all the help and advice received I managed to buy the exact printer I wanted from Confort for €49 complete with inks.

(Sparky - it's the Epson S20 (the one with monkey on the front)so not sure if your inks would fit?)
