Good morning all!

Below is a video of the fire run, sorry it's not brilliant quality but it was done at night.

I have to say I much preferred it this year, as they didn't just light their fireworks and chase people, they did a sort of slow walk around the roundabout and after that they went and got "the more heavy duty stuff" and they started chasing people

Unfortunately every year a firework seems to come off the end of one of the devils into the crowd, luckily no one was hurt I believe, but I just saw it whizzing straight for a big crowd of people.
I'm sure the Civil Protection would have come running over if it was anything serious, but they just looked over and stayed where they were.

I agree the Michael Jackson tribute was very good...didnt see it all but very impressed with what we saw.We didnt go to the square Fri night as it was out last night and we had intended to have an early night (well that was the intention!!) cant say I missed the disco on the beach - we stay opposite so there is no sleep than night however was very sorry to miss the fireworks this year-

Nice one, Sea Captain. We missed the fire festival this year by one day. Got dates wrong. Saw it last year, it was brilliant.

Great time

Just back from a fantastic 8 days. Caught the beach party and fireworks. Superb. Laid on beach right under them near guy playing guitar while we waited. Before that had superb meal at los zarzales. Just joined the forum so did not see this before but would have been useful as we had been in puerto pollenca last year and caught the events by luck and went hoping we had timed it right. So next year.........needs to go in the diary.as soon as anyone knows for sure can they post. Thanks for your help if you can.
