I have had to get a new sim card for my internet USB stick from
the Vodafone shop in Alcudia, please be warned after many attempts
to connect via 3G, being fobbed off with poor weather causing a problem
I have now given up, so please do not end up like me !

The answer was to buy a new USB stick from the Yoigo shop just (39 euro)
down the road from the Vodafone shop, hurrah now have a 3G connection
in my apartment & the sun is shinning.........Ha Ha

Checked the vodafone 3G, still kaput, useless & the weather now better does not seem to make a difference, surprise, surprise.

P.S. Needed passport to purchase sim card.

So even if you only send one text in one day they kindly charge you the £2.50 for that day.

Mark, if you want to use it for data (for use in netbooks etc.) though you have to activate the sim for use with data, never had much joy trying to do this myself and have lost quite a few euros in my attempts! Ive Never had any problem topping up my phone at any of these outlets though.

Now my dilemas with dongles are over as we had broadband installed into the apartment this week.
