WANTED: Painting of the Calvari steps

Hello,

Hopefully somebody can help me with this one.

I am looking for an original painting of the Calvari steps, for my wife's 50th birthday in Oct 2017. Planning well ahead I know.

Ideally by a local artist, and either already completed or happy to commission. Not too bothered whether watercolour or oils.

So, any recommendations would be welcome for:

- local artists who would welcome a commission
- galleries that may have suitable pictures
- paintings you may have for sale

There's an artist called Gerry Greer who advertises his artwork of the local area on a PP Facebook page. I think he may only work on canvas though, so I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for. Google "Gerry Greer"

Not sure if Zoltan would take a commission or be the right artist for your idea of a painting of the Calvari steps, but there's no harm in finding out.

Google search Galeria Dionis Bennassar in Pollensa. They have a lot of originals and prints and possibly they could help with a suitable artist. I have bought prints and an original from them online with no problems. I bought a print of Calvari steps by a local artist - Cati Benassar - so they may also have the original.

Yes, local guy, Zoltan Muladi is an excellent artist & works in a variety of styles.
Another artist you may like to consider is Spanish painter, Ruben de Luis. He's painted several scenes in Mallorca & I believe he can also be commissioned to create a painting from a favourite photo. He's on Facebook if you'd like to see some of his work - or you could Google him.

There is a gallery at the bottom of the steps (don't know the name). on the corner of Carrer de l'Ombra and Carrer de l'Horta. We have seen original paintings of the steps to Calvari in there....if nothing else, they have lots of local artists' work and may be able to source what you want or put you in touch with an artist to commission a piece.

There is an incredible painting of the Calvari steps in Galeria d'art in C/Joan XX111. It would make a fantastic gift - only downside is that is over 5000 euros!

I paint in Watercolour as a hobby, and if you havnt already bought a painting or commissioned someone to do it, if you tell me what size you want, I will have a go at painting it.
