Jilly the problem with second hand is because of all the Call in the water here if the washing machine has not been used with anti call it could prove to be a bad buy I would recommend you bite the Bullet call in at Comfort in the port and buy a new one they are not silly money and you will probably save in the long run

Thanks for the advice, it is a very good point I hadn't really considered. Looks like a shopping trip is on the cards.

And they will take the old one away for you, free of charge .

Also worth having a look in Electrodomésticos Reus they often have special offers .

There is a handy Facebook page - North Mallorca 2nd hand buy & sell and there is a lady selling a Zanussi washing machine on there.

It might be worth asking her if it is a newish machine.....you never know, it might be the bargain of the day!

I tend to agree with earlier posts though, that buying new might be the best bet, especially as they will take the old machine away for you too.
