watched a few old firm games in jk's but hard to beat mulligans on derby day, and yes i love IRISH bars

Well a certain someone has gone to the match tonight and he definitely won't be cheering for Barca!

Blooming cheek I think as it's our anniversary today so I'll have to wine and dine myself tonight

Clearly the accurate thing to say would be that its best he gets his disapointment over now rather than in a few weeks time .............. but on second thoughts BEST NOT

I'll be watching the game in PP ........ and I'm a girl so I like banter but don't like nastiness ( not that I've ever experienced any in PP - or at the ground to be honest - well not since the 80's ) ........... probably watch in Joker or Diana ........ not coz I want a refined atmosphere but Jk;s is just too smokey for me

( Oh and before any wise cracks PaulB fan for 40 odd years ; born within 10miles of the ground; went as a kid during the no trophy years and the trip to div 2 etc etc and only time I've ever eaten a prawn whilst watching the match was when footie was on one night in C'an Ferra )

Funny - that's what my Boss at work said when I reminded him I wasn;t gonne be there last week in May

The May week is the week we go with 2 other couples ( both of whom - to keep the footie theme going will most definitely be supporting Barca ......... makes for fun ! ) and has been organised for ages

the April week was only supposed to be a couple of days , but I decided a few weeks before we went to add on a few days and before I knew it we had booked a week

So it's Barca v Man Utd.

But as a neutral I have to say Chelsea were absolutely robbed. Two absolute stonewall penalty claims turned down (although having said that, the sending-off was a joke as well). Looks like Uefa did not want another all English final. Still be cheering one-shot-one-kill Barca in the final in PP!!

So i spent a very enjoyable evening in JK's watching Barca go through to the final.
The company of Bonyslad,Sandy and her hubby was an added bonus. Great to see you at last and even better that i had a €5 bet on a 1-1 draw, ( never had a bet in my life) so beginners luck.
Where will i be watching the final?........ El Leon Dorado (the golden lion) but i wish i could split myself into many pieces because the atmosphere is going to be great all over the Port.

So what was it like there last night, Sparky? I bet it went wild when Barca equalised - Divine Intervention, our name's on the cup etc.

CD - we both love football (God's universal language - except he forgot to teach it to the Americans!), that's common enough ground for anyone.

By the way, I think Man U play lovely football in the right way and are an absolute credit to the game. If both teams play to their abilities it should be a great final. See you in the Tapas Bar.
