Weather in May

Hello!

Its been 10 years since I have been to PP and I can not wait to go back, though it will be a different experience. LAst time i Visisted at the age of 16 with my family, now I am going with my my husband and son at the age of 26! Has anyone got any reccomandations of what to do with children whilst there?

I am also concered that we are going week May 2nd. I have looked at weather underground, and the temps for the last 5 years have seem to be fab, but I have no idea what to pack for my self, let alone my son who will be 21 months old! Any advice will be appreciated!

Also will pools/sea be usuable this time of year!

Hi Sloulou and welcome to the forum.
Before becoming PP residents we always holidayed in early May, i would recommend packing layers of clothes because it can be a bit chilly in the evenings (especially if you have been in the sun all day) and also lightweight raincoats as there are often a few showers, swimming pools could still be a little cold but the sea temperature is normally fine unless there has been a lot of rain .

Thanks and thanks for yur reply!! It doesnt matter about the pool as he can paddle in the sea!!! and he loves paddling in the cold british sea so should be fine! What are averages for the day time? Is it warm enough for say shrts/tshirts xxx Sorry for all the questions!

The sun is still strong so we always put our children in those swimsuits that protect against the sun-you will have a great time.
