Good morning, there are a lot of rather dark clouds about today but we are getting an occasional glimpse of the sun. It is 18c but feels much fresher in the fairly strong wind.
There are storms forecast so i must go and find my brolly.

Good morning all, after last night's high winds it is much calmer today but there are more high winds on the way. It is a very damp and grey start to the day and the temperature has dropped to 11c, looks like winter has arrived.

We arrived in the port at around 2pm on Sunday 1st

Had ourselves some bread, cheese pate lunch on the balcony and then headed for the Illa d'Or, had a coffee and then around 4pm went for a walk down to the roundabout to show our friends who were PP virgins our lovelly place

I went for a paddle ......... the weather was beautiful

Well we have another beautiful morning here and it's 21c.
Going for a stroll along the prom later, i will be taking notes so if you see me CD please speak up, it would be great to meet you.

Sparky ......... I did look out for you but failed to spot you

and for the record I did swim in the sea ......... on Tuesday at Formentor .......... and let me tell you the shock of the cold of the sea was nothing in comparison to the shock when we got the bill for our coffes at the Hotel Formentor beach bar ( 4.80 euros each ) .... anyway .. back to the swimming ....... had to grit your teeth as you got in but once in it was lovelly in fact you had to stay undr the water to keep warm because by the time we got out around lunchtime it had started to blow a gale

Hopefully I'll be over sometime in the new year and we'll make a definite arrangement to meet for a coffee ( though not a 4.80 euro one ! )

After a cold night 7c, it is a lovely sunny morning, there is a light breeze and it is 19c although on the TV they have forecast thunderstorms.

Good morning all, it looks like it's going to be a day of sunshine and showers. I think any showers will pass quite quickly because we have very high winds, the shutters have been rattling all night . Anyway it is dry at moment and 17c but feels much colder in the wind.

..thanks once again for your helpful updates Sparky... although it sounds like the temperature has dropped a wee bit, it's a damn sight better than the torrential rain and dark grey day we're having in non-so-sunny Worcestershire!

...but have booked up a couple of trips for 2010 last night... and feel better already!

Good morning, the very high wind has died down a bit today but it is still very blustery. Looks like we are going to have a day of sunshine and showers, it is 16c. The Balaerics are on a weather alert, so i don't think i will be venturing too far today.

Good morning, i had a rather disturbed night last night, the wind became very high again and there were heavy showers of hail and rain with very loud thunder thrown in for good measure .
This morning is bright and breezy with a few clouds about and 15c.

Good morning everyone, it is very calm here this morning, cloudy but still fairly bright and 18c. It feels quite warm now that wind has gone.
