Seems i picked a good week last week! I've been going over during winter for the last 16 yrs, had it all, rain, snow, but always had a wonderful time. Would definately recomend it for a winter holiday. If your over in the summer, close your eyes, look out to sea, imagine the Med like glass, clear blue skies, temp 21c, no people to spoil your view, picture postcard in high-definition, well that's what it was like last week. Not bad for December.

The wind has really picked up now and it is raining heavily, sideways .

Looks like PP is taking a battering - BHI webcam is showing dramatic footage of waves crashing against the Pine Walk. There is an upended sunlounger leaning on the wall and BHI's 'A' board seems to be missing. Hopefully it was taken inside at close of buisness yesterday!
Looks rather like Blackpool prom when we go for a winters walk to 'blow the cobwebs' away!!

Hola amigos , my god what a night, torrential rain and the wind was incredible, it certainly had the shutters rattling.
This morning it has calmed down a bit but more is forecast and it's still raining. The temperature is a mere 7c and the wind chill factor is making it feel raw.

The seafront from Tamarelles down towards Alcudia looks like a war zone,with debris over the beach and road, winter has arrived and how.

Feel sorry for those on holiday, but as i've said i've experianced it all, just goes to show going in winter can be a bit of a lottery, but you must prepare for that. Interesting Sparky mentioning the high winds, sometimes i've thought the building was coming down, frightening(tho' mrs S slept thru)

It's getting brighter but the wind is picking up again, the lampost outside my lounge balcony is swaying like mad, i hope the base is strong .

Miriam i just looked on Accuweather and it doesn't look good for hubby's ferry tonight.

Hola bon dia amigos, we had some heavy showers during the night but the wind has died down. This morning there is a breeze, it is mostly cloudy and 10c.

Just driving back from Alcudia yesterday and noticed the first layer of snow on the mountains !

I'm not surprised Sandy, it felt very cold yesterday.

Bon dia amigos, we had heavy rain overnight and although it is dry at the moment i don't think it will last. It's quite windy and 7c.
