LOL! You know me so well! I'm relying on Sparky to give a proper forecast as opposed to the predictions the weather men give.

Come on Sparky get this weather sorted I arrive in 11 more sleeps

I need sun and at least 15 degrees

I have new flip flops and they will be sad if they can't come out to say hello to the pine walk

I also can't be packing jumpers sa I need the room for the return journey coz i've heard we have a new bag and shoe shop

Seriously, and getting back onto thread .............. does it "feel" like spring yet ? ................... 2 years ago I came over on 2nd April and it was lovelly and warm .................... I can still remember a fantastic 3 hr lunch at Stay basking in the sunshine but then paying for it later with burned shoulders

Bon dia amigos, we had a light shower last night and this morning it is cloudy but dry with hardly any wind and it's 20c.

CD i have been in my flip flops for a couple of days now , i walked through the square just after 1am today and it was 12c so i think spring has arrived .

Hola bon dia amigos.
There is a slight glitch in the onset of spring today, we had some rain overnight, it is quite grey this morning and more rain is forecast but at least it's mild at 17c. .

Last night at 11pm it was really quite balmy and loads of people were sat "outside" O'Haras .

Second wettest Majorcan winter on record (quote from paper)


STAFF REPORTER
MAJORCA has had the second wettest winter since records began, reported the National Weather Agency (AEMET) yesterday.
AEMET’s delegate in the Balearics, Agustin Jansa said that rainfall between December 2009 and February 2010 had doubled and only the winter of 1986-87 was registered as being wetter.

In Sa Pobla, a new historic level of 371 litres per square metre was recorded this winter and in Lluc, the 925 litres accumulated there was twice the historic average.

Palma airport recorded 208 litres, the third highest in its history. March rainfall has still not been taken into account.
Temperatures meanwhile have been around average for the season except in the first two weeks of March when they were between 2 and 2.5 degrees colder than normal


But its still got to be warmer and drier than here hopefully!?

I don't know where they got the info from but i have talked to a few people today ( ex pats and locals ) and we all agree that last winter here in PP was much wetter than this year. I suppose the DB reports the island as a whole.
