Rachel i have just gone back over my reports and the first week in May was wet, windy and stormy, the rest of the month was ok apart from an odd bad day.

Thats a very good point Sparky, your records go back to 01/01/10 can you believe that will soon be a year of reports already, 
So anyone wanting to compare year on year can look back over the thread and have a pretty good idea what to expect weather wise.

Yes time flies SWS. It is actually already a year though, i just checked back and it was around this time last year GG asked for an "on the spot update", then the webcam went down so i started to do a daily report, hope this link works.

Hi guys welcome to the weekend, we had some rain late last night and at 6 am i could hear thunder in the distance, the wind came up and we had a thunderstorm with rain.
This morning is bright with sunny spells, the wind is light and it is 25c but quite humid.

The local fishermen are saying there is a big storm on the way and will hit us on Friday night/ Saturday morning will keep you posted, i am off to batten down the hatches.

Bon dia amigos it started to rain steadily last night at about 9pm and it kept going all night, it actually woke me a few times because it was so heavy.
This morning it's not raining but looking at the sky it won't be long before it starts again, the wind is quite high and gusty and it's only 21c. The forecast is not good for the next few days.....Bonyslad you had better hang on to your toldos .

Sparky, It reads like a carbon copy of the weather at this time last year, perhaps a answer to the posters who ask " What's the weather like in Sept?"
The 1st half, magnificent, the 2nd half, a wee bit unpredictable.

OMG - just started packing for later next week! So do I pack more woollies and maybe the wellies and exceed the paltry baggage allowance, or should I be optimistic and hope things will change?

We got back to Scotland at t-time... and from the flite and the confines of the plane we were lulled into thinking... great... sunshine

that was what it was... lovely autumnal sunshine... but on the verrry cool side !
Whereas, yup, it has been a bit soggy and a bit cool in PP... it wasn't COLD - even when it was pouring down, I was on my balcony in my bikini ( the day had started sunny hence the attire)
